2014 PSWLL Yearbook

Posted by Pasadena Southwest Little League at Nov 19, 2014 11:10AM PST

The 2014 PSWLL Yearbook is now available! The yearbook was produced on, and is available in three formats: 1) Hardcover, 2) Softcover, 3) E-Yearbook (ePub format). The yearbook commemorates a great 2014 season, and will be something your kids will enjoy looking back on over the years. It may also be a great holiday gift for family members.

Visit the Picaboo website today to order:

NOTE: You cannot preview the yearbook on Picaboo prior to purchase, so we have posted a draft PDF version on our website at so you have an idea what it looks like. The ePub version from Picaboo looks much better than the PDF, as it will look like the actual printed book. And of course the printed book looks the best!

Don’t forget to register your player for the Spring 2015 season. Visit our website to register:

Thank You! And, 2015 Board Elections

Posted by David Mathias at Aug 11, 2014 3:13PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

As we wind down summer ball, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for making the PSWLL family so awesome. Especially thank you to the 12 year olds who finished their last year in little league with us. Please remember that you are always welcome to come back home to PSWLL.

It has been a great year and as we wind down the year we are also winding up next year starting with 2015 Board Elections. The new board officially takes over October 1st but they usually gear up in September.

There are three main steps for the elections:

1 – Call for nominations – anyone can nominate themselves or someone else to be on the board. There is no tenure for the board so everyone must be re-elected every year. I will ask three times for nominations, consider this call number one.

Review the list below for the names of nominees that have already been thrown into the ring. Let me know if you don’t want to be on that list, if I spelled your name wrong, if you want your name added, etc.

2 – After the last call for nominees, the PSWLL membership will vote on individual board members. The membership is defined as those who participate in the running of our league. Since this is a loose definition, we use the background checks as the list of members with the idea that if you are involved enough to have a background check, then you certainly participate in running the league.

3 – Once the Board is elected, the New Board then elects the specific roles…president, etc.

Give me a yell if you have questions:

And thank you for a great year of little league baseball!

David Mathias, 2014 President

The AA Cardinals won their Championship game against the mighty Yankees at Allendale on Thursday. It was a very exciting game with a ton of great baseball. And, many thanks to all the players and teams in AA this year (Cardinals, Yankees, Tigers, Angels, Giants, A’s, & Indians) — we look forward to some of these fine players in kid-pitch over the summer and next year!
